This is the advanced level of a 3 book series, and even contains a little bit of theory. Examples are shown using TAB and standard notation. There is a ton of info here, and though the title may imply master soloing, more emphasis is placed on advanced rhythm guitar playing. There are still a lot of lead examples, and you shouldn't get this book unless you've completed the two previous editions, or are an intermediate player. A little bit pricier than other books of its kind, but well worth it for the sheer volume of info presented. Very nice layout. And after you finish this volume, don't forget to submerge yourself in the recordings of SRV, Robert Johnson, B.B. King, Clapton, Freddie King, and others.
